Each participant will receive a rocket kit to build in the morning session along with motors to fly their rocket in the afternoon.  All building materials, supplies, and launch equipment will be provided.  The morning building session will start promptly at 10am with a 2-hour lunch break (lunch is not provided   The camp will conclude around 3pm after all participants have flown their model rocket at least once.

Our Introduction to Model Rocketry camp is limited to 20 participants so please register ASAP as space is limited.

Model rocketry is a fun, safe, and inexpensive activity that teaches basic principles of aerodynamic bodies as they move through the air.  During the morning session you’ll learn about thrust, drag, and stability as we construct our rocket.  After the lunch break we’ll head outside for the afternoon session to launch them skyward.
