Circumstances related to the current pandemic change on what seems to be a daily basis, and we all are doing our best to navigate these challenges. Currently, players cannot participate in contested activities with other participants under the Governor's Executive Order (No. 50/38). The prohibition on contact sporting events and activities remains through August 29th, 2020.

TSSAA released guidelines on how we can practice safely. With that said, we have changed our initial practice dates to allow us additional time to meet these new guidelines.

  • Tackle Football practices will start on August 10 @ 6:00 pm.
  • Cheer practices will start on August 18 @ 6:00 pm.
  • Flag Football and Soccer teams will begin practices the week of August 17. Practice days and times will be team specific and will be communicated to you shortly before your first practice.

 

What Will Practices Look Like?

We understand that there is a lot of confusion as to what practices and games will look like this season. Please find our current policies listed below. These are subject to change as existing guidelines from TSSAA are updated.

General

  • Parents, coaches, and players will NOT be required to wear a face covering.
  • Only approved coaches and players are allowed on the field; no parents or other spectator allowed, no exceptions.
  • Parents on the sideline are encouraged practice social distancing.
  • No personal items may be shared among players. Clearly label water bottles, towels, and other personal equipment to help prevent the sharing of personal items.
  • Do not attend practice if you or your player can answer YES to any of the following:
  • Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
    • Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
    • Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
    • Have you had new loss of taste or smell?
    • Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?

 

Tackle Football

  • All players will be required to check-in at the middle pavilion and be temperature checked before starting practice.
  • Tackle practice gear will be sanitized before, during, and after practice by tackle coaches.

 

Flag Football / Soccer

  • With so many teams, we are asking parents to check and monitor their players for COVID-19 related symptoms before attending practice.
  • Shared practice equipment (footballs, soccer balls, flags, cones) will be cleaned before and after practices.

 

What Is the Refund Policy If Fall Sports Are Forced To Cancel?

  • If we are forced to cancel the season prior to the first scheduled game being played, we will refund 100% of the registration fee.
  • If the season is cancelled after the first scheduled game but prior to the 4th scheduled game being played, we will refund $50 of the overall fee.
  • There will be no refunds given after the 4th scheduled game has been played.
  • If a player quits after registration, our standard refund policy will be in effect.
